Haruto Matcha is a premium quality matcha from Japan. This blend of Yabukita, Okumidori, and Tsuyuhikari green teas from the mountains of Shizuoka offers a balance of powerful umami and invigorating freshness, perfect on its own or in beverages.

The Tenryu region in western Shizuoka is home to these teas, prized for their transparent taste derived from mineral-rich soils and natural shading. Tenryu sencha is known for its clear taste and mountain aroma "yama no kaori." The isolated Isagawa valley in the mountains is ideal for organic tea cultivation, covering 20 hectares at high altitude. The combination of natural shading and altitude produces rich teas without the need for pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
